We can raid our cabinets and have friends bring some of their favorite options but this doesn’t always promise everyone will agree on what to watch.
There is always a Redbox close by as a last minute option.

Snacks, Drinks, and Swag
A gathering doesn’t have to be expensive but there are a few things that can make it so much more fun.
Glow sticks.
You read that right we love to turn all the lights out for a movie and deck everyone out with glow sticks.
Popcorn is a must for anything movie related.
It does not have to the expensive kind either, there is something amazing about bad movie theater popcorn.
The dollar store has some cute popcorn containers to hand out to your guests as well as the same candies you would find at the theater for a fraction of the cost.

A Great Guest List
This is the time to really think about who you want to invite.
Take a moment to consider some factors in what kind of guest you would like to invite.
Do you want the friend who can’t sit through 15 min without talking or the friend who gets sucked into the movie and winds up on the floor on a pillow to be closer to the action?

Set the atmosphere!
Get some big pillows, fuzzy blankets, stuffed animals.
We have an oversized stuffed fuzzy monkey that makes a great spot to plop for a movie and cuddle.
Grab anything squishy and comfy for a long settled in time.
Make your space warm, inviting, fun, and personal!
